And for the vast, vast, vast majority of us on Substack, we're extremely fortunate to make a couple hundred dollars a year. Noah is lucky - it's like having a bestseller on Amazon. The top fiction books pull in easily $150k+ a month (I have an app that shows sales figures) - but the other 99% of writers are lucky to sell 200 books during its lifetime. I believe in hope and that we can all be Noah, but I don't want people thinking it's easy to make good money on Substack. Or Medium for that matter....
